This hollow dollar sign piggy bank is constructed from 3 layers. Two outer layers of your choice of plywood/veneer (shown in Oak), plus an inner core typically made from a scrap piece of 2x4 or 2x6. The piggy bank is emptied using a sliding wooden door on the bottom of the piggy bank.
